Smallholder farmers in developing countries face major barriers to carbon financing: additionality and permanence. This project researched the value of a carbon offset programme that enables Zambian smallholders to plant nitrogen-fixing agroforestry species, as well as improving cost effectiveness through innovative contract design.

The aim of this project was to allow them to extend their subject thesaurus to include the wider climate & development subject area, and to extend their custom search to cover more websites in this broader domain.
