Raising Risk Awareness uses state-of-the-art science to help Asian and African societies to understand the role of climate change in extreme weather events and prepare for future ones. A three-day learning event, hosted in Nairobi, was held to bring together 65 members of the Raising Risk Awareness team from across the globe. The learnings drawn from the project highlight the opportunities and challenges that were faced, with a view to informing further phases of the Raising Risk Awareness project.
