Resilience Evidence Forum Synthesis Report: Prioritising collective goals and scaling solutions
This report captures the key messages that emerged from the Resilience Evidence Forum, held in Cape Town from 20-22 June 2023. The report is based on the latest evidence and methodological advancements across different scales of analysis, as well as different cross-cutting themes. It emphasises the need to prioritise resilience as a collective goal, showcases success stories and outlines principles for scaling evidence-based solutions.

The seventh edition of Adaptation Futures (AF2023), hosted by Ouranos, the Government of Canada and the United Nations’ World Adaptation Science Programme (WASP), will take place in Montréal from 2-6 October. AF2023 will be a critical meeting point to advance discussion about climate change adaptation in an increasingly complex world. CDKN will be co-hosting three sessions and co-leading a masterclass. Opportunity: CLARE Roster of Experts - Research-to-action services in Africa and Asia
The Climate Adaptation and Resilience (CLARE) programme has announced a call for Expressions of Interest (EoI). The call will establish a roster of climate experts for short term assignments to mobilise existing research into use in a variety of decision-making contexts. Submit your EoI before 31 October 2023.

CDKN at Africa Climate Week 2023
Africa Climate Week (ACW) and the Africa Climate Summit (ACS), both hosted by the Government of Kenya, will run concurrently from 4-8 September in Nairobi. The first of four Regional Climate Weeks, ACW aims to build momentum ahead of COP28 and the conclusion of the first global stocktake, designed to chart the way for fulfilling the Paris Agreement's key goals. CDKN will be hosting two sessions at ACW and one session at ACS. Find out more below.

The storytelling contest brings young voices with lived experiences of resilience to the forefront, encouraging them to share stories that enable action and create lasting change.
