Risk and adaptation tool to help Caribbean water managers
The Caribbean Climate Online Risk and Adaptation tool (CCORAL) provides an online support system for climate-resilient decision-making. Now it is being developed specifically to help water managers. Pati Leon reports.
The Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) has been commissioned by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) to communicate the findings of IPCC AR5 to decision-makers in developing countries.
The purpose of this initiative was to provide Latin American and Caribbean decision-makers reliable and relevant information on key aspects of climate compatible development and disaster risk management.
This project aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of planning departments in ministries and local governments in eight African countries by integrating water security and climate resilience into water-related development planning.
