Lisa leads CDKN's knowledge management work, focussed on providing developing countries with useful and relevant knowledge to inform climate action.
Lisa previously led CDKN’s Africa knowledge management programme from 2011-2014, and then provided strategic input and oversight of both the KM programme and CDKN's delivery of country programmes in Kenya and Rwanda from 2014-2017.
Prior to 2011, Lisa worked as a climate change specialist in the Environmental Management Department of the City of Johannesburg (CoJ), where she focussed on city-level adaptation planning, awareness-raising initiatives, as well as sustainable energy in low-income housing. Her Master’s degree focussed on the governance of climate change within the City of Johannesburg municipality, in particular the management of urban flood risk in low-income areas. She holds a BA honours in Development Studies and MSc in Environmental Studies.
