Lisa McNamara
Lisa McNamara is a Programme Director at CDKN. Lisa oversees CDKN’s work across its regions of implementation and the delivery of its objectives to enhance gender equity and social inclusion in climate action, improve access to adaptation finance and strengthen implementation of ecosystem-based adaptation.
Lisa has over 15 years’ experience in the climate change field and expertise across urban resilience, climate governance and knowledge brokering, managing programmes from subnational to global levels. She has worked in both the government and non-profit sectors, including as a climate change specialist at the Johannesburg municipality in South Africa concentrating on sustainable energy in low-income housing and adaptation planning.
Lisa holds an MSc in Environmental Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand, focussing on urban adaptation governance.
