The Africa Climate Change Resilience Alliance (ACCRA) has developed the Local Adaptive Capacity framework (LAC), to frame its research. CDKN is funding ACCRA over a 6-month period to July 2011 to help it undertake deeper engagement with country governments and policy-makers.
H.E President Kagame and the Government of Rwanda asked CDKN and the UK Department for International Development (DFID) to help it develop a National Climate Change and Low Carbon Development Strategy (NCCLCDS). The strategy, which was developed by the Smith School of Enterprise and Environment (SSEE) at the University of Oxford and completed in August 2011 involved nine months of discussions with stakeholders across ministries, the private sector and civil society.
