CDKN is a new member of Friends of Ecosystem-based Adaptation CDKN has recently joined as a member of the Friends of Ecosystem-based Adaptation (FEBA) to advance our work on strengthening implementation of just and appropriate ecosystem-based adaptation. FEBA is a global collaborative network of organisations with a shared interest in advancing awareness, understanding and uptake of ecosystem-based solutions in adaptation and resilience efforts and planning processes around the world.

Practising what we preach: CDKN’s own co-creation adventure CDKN Learning lead, Lucia Scodanibbio, reflects on a recent three day co-creation process the CDKN team undertook to develop a capacity strengthening programme to assist knowledge brokers to be more effective facilitators of climate action. While acknowledging the challenges associated with co-creation spaces, Lucia emphasises the sustainable, inclusive and effective solutions that can emerge from them.

A new policy brief summarises the evidence that supports and knowledge gaps that hinder clean and inclusive energy transitions.

Climate crisis swings rural school children into action in Zambia Knowledge-into-Use award recipient, Enoch Mwangilwa, highlights the impactful story of children from the Chongololo and Chipembele Conservation Clubs in Itezhi-tezhi, a rural district in Zambia. These young individuals are making an impact by utilising art and peer-to-peer climate and environmental education to inspire their communities to adopt sustainable practices.

Afsana highlights the importance of holistic solutions that fully engage the local community.
