#Art4Resilience: Announcing the 2022 Knowledge-into-Use award winners In the lead-up to the COP27 Resilience Hub, the Resilience Evidence Coalition launched the Knowledge-into-Use awards to highlight innovative and creative ways of facilitating the use of resilience knowledge. 48 individuals, groups and grassroots organisations submitted ideas in the form of games, cartoons, paintings, drawings, murals, theatre, short films, exhibits of local and Indigenous knowledge and more.

#Art4Resilience: Announcing the 2023 Knowledge-into-Use award winners The Resilience Evidence Coalition, a network consisting of the Global Resilience Partnership (GRP), CDKN and the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD), has announced the second round of the Knowledge-into-Use awards. The awards celebrate creativity, embrace innovation and showcase the latest resilience evidence.

Africa is painted grey: Building Africa’s evidence base of readily available data Guy Rudolph from CDKN and Charles Tonui from ARIN discuss the importance of gathering locally-relevant data and using it to inform national, regional and even global processes. With adequate data, local organisations can produce the evidence required to justify funding from global climate finance organisations, and begin accurately painting the continent.

Practising what we preach: CDKN’s own co-creation adventure CDKN Learning lead, Lucia Scodanibbio, reflects on a recent three day co-creation process the CDKN team undertook to develop a capacity strengthening programme to assist knowledge brokers to be more effective facilitators of climate action.
