Designing and delivering climate compatible development
CDKN's CEO, Sam Bickersteth, spoke at the 2011 Climate Lectures at the Environmental Change Institute at Oxford University. In this presentation he discusses climate compatible development as a multi-dimensional response to the challenges of climate change and offers examples from CDKN's work.
This project examines the prospects for ‘climate compatible agricultural knowledge management’ to maximise opportunities for the rural poor to mitigate and adapt to climate change – and to be properly recompensed for the costs they bear in doing so.
This project investigates the scope of Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions for identifying climate compatible agricultural options that also support other key policy goals.
The project aims to identify effective ways to improve and share understanding of water-related climate change risks and uncertainties in selected delta communities in Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia.
The goal of this project is to research, develop and test methods to integrate community-based participatory carbon measurement and monitoring with remote sensing, GIS and web-enabled reporting tools.
