Cities Footprint Project is voted one of five ‘best urban initiatives worldwide’
The ‘Cities Footprint’ project, designed and co-financed by the Latin American Development Bank (CAF), CDKN, the Agence Française de Développement and Fundacion Futuro Latinoamericano has been named one of the world's most promising initiatives for urban sustainability and for best practice in linking local to global agendas.
In many Caribbean countries, national and sectoral level policies are lagging behind the already evident threats to development from climate change despite the strong efforts made at the international and community level to adapt. The Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI), in collaboration with the World Resource Institute (WRI) and the St. Lucia National Trust (SLNT) is implementing a project in St. Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago to increase civil society engagement in policy and institutional analysis for climate change adaptation.
CDKN has been working to support NDC implementation in Ethiopia through the Climate Action Enhancement Package (CAEP).

The Global Center on Adaptation (GCA) and CDKN are pleased to announce a call for stories on community-driven and locally-led adaptation. These stories will be collaboratively developed and featured in a publication to be launched at the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in November 2023.
