The Global EbA Fund has announced the thematic track for its 6th cohort.

Solar Radiation Modification: Why young people must have a say
Solar Radiation Modification (SRM) technology is rapidly advancing and seriously being considered as a method to artificially cool the planet. However, it raises significant ethical, environmental, political and social issues and will have far reaching consequences for the world if it is deployed. Since it will impact the lives of future generations, it's imperative that young people have a say in whether it's developed and how it may impact the most climate-affected countries and communities.
Resilience Evidence Forum
Registration is now open for the Resilience Evidence Forum, to be held in Cape Town in June 2023. The forum, co-hosted by USAID and the Global Resilience Partnership (GRP), aims to take stock of the latest evidence on resilience and its implications for policy and programming and spark further collaborations and capacity exchange across geographic contexts, sectors and actors.

CDKN at the UN Water Conference
The UN 2023 Water Conference took place from 22-24 March 2023 in New York and online. The conference raised awareness of the global water crisis, while deciding on concerted action to achieve internationally agreed water-related goals and targets. Elevating the role of water resilience in food system dialogues
Ensuring resilient food systems and sustainable healthy diets for all requires much higher water use, however, water resources are finite, geographically dispersed and volatile under climate change. A new paper co-authored by CDKN CEO Shehnaaz Moosa highlights the role of water use in the food system and how good governance is central to achieving water-resilient food systems.
This project is supporting research on promising women-led solutions for green economies and climate action.
