This webinar discusses the Raising Risk Awareness (RRA) initiative, which uses the latest science to assess whether climate change has contributed to extreme weather events such as droughts, floods and heatwaves in several countries across East Africa and South Asia.

We explore how climate scientists and communicators can work together to improve understanding of climate risks, encourage a better informed public debate, and help NGOs, donors, and policymakers make better adaptation decisions. The webinar was co-organised by Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters (BRACED) and the Raising Risk Awareness project.
