Nomadic pastoralists of the arid and semi-arid lands of northern Kenya have been adapting for millennia to the region's hot and dry conditions, moving in search of water and pasture. But a changing climate presents new challenges to pastoralists, as drought events become more pronounced.

Umoro Godana of PISP speaks to CDKN about the challenges of communicating climate change to pastoralists and emphasises the need to work through trusted leadership to convey climate change messages.

The video is part of the ‘CDKN in conversation…‘ series.
