The movement towards a Low Carbon, Climate Resilient (LCCR) development pathway is dependent on creating an enabling environment focusing on three key factors:

  • Knowledge-building a technology base,
  • Policy-strengthening the institutional framework and
  • Finance- devising innovative mechanisms.

While the Government of India has recognised the need for action in this sector, there is a lack of attention towards the 70 million (population) strong rural spaces and small towns which are emerging as areas of high growth. This training kit aims to bridge this gap by generating knowledge support for LCCR solutions for small towns and rural spaces to build capacity for building professionals in Madhya Pradesh.

The training module on low-carbon, climate-resilient construction, designed for Building Professionals in Madhya Pradesh, consists of the following components:

Workshop Presentations:

  1. Introduction
  2. Session 1: Presentation 1
  3. Session 1: Presentation 2
  4. Session 2: Presentation 1
  5. Session 2: Presentation 2
  6. Session 2: Presentation 3
