To accompany the project Raising Risk Awareness, CDKN is offering high-quality images for use by journalists and educators when writing on the activities of the project or on climate risk. In this image, workers fill and carry sand filled geo bags for loading on boats. The bags will be pitched on the banks of the river as a part of the Integrated Flood and River Bank Erosion Risk Management Investment program funded by the Asian Development Bank. The project has given the villagers of Brahmaputra, Guwahati, Assam confidence to live and work in the area.
