The project’s long term goal and ambition is to strengthen the resilience and adaptive capacity of the region’s communities in addition to enhancing their livelihoods and development opportunities by promoting Mitigation based adaptation (MbA) as a new framework for action.

The changing risk of extreme weather: Insights from Raising Risk Awareness Raising Risk Awareness held a three-day learning event, hosted in Nairobi, to bring together 65 members of the Raising Risk Awareness team from across the globe.
