Project : Research and support on adaptation and equity in Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs)

The World Resources Institute (WRI) is working to clarify the issues of adaptation and equity in Intended Nationally Determined Contributions for developing countries, via in-country support to Ethiopia and Colombia, and the production of a working paper providing guidance to developing countries on adaptation.

Project : Identifying energy efficiency measures for businesses in Peru

Peru’s high rate of economic growth has led to a substantial increase in total energy consumption, which is expected to continue to rise in the future. In the short term, this could lead to potential deficits in electricity supply as generation capacity struggles to keep pace with demand. This poses a danger to economic growth and business competitiveness if shortages lead to operational disruptions or additional costs to guarantee energy supply.
