With support from CDKN, The Gambia revised its medium term plan - the Programme for Accelerated Growth and Employment (PAGE) - to integrate climate change into policies and actions. This was the first step towards developing a climate change strategy for the country.

CDKN will be providing in-depth support to low carbon development in Peru (Climate-Change Plan), specifically through the Mitigation Action Plans and Scenarios (MAPS) process, which constitutes Phase 1 of the CCPlan.

The MAPS-Chile project will develop emission trajectories through research, modelling, and simulation results.

Subcomponent 8 of the National Climate Change Response Strategy (NCCRS) Action Plan for Kenya will research and scope an appropriate financial mechanism for channeling climate finance in Kenya. It will also design and embed the mechanism for implementation.

Subcomponent 4 of the National Climate Change Response Strategy (NCCRS) Action Plan focuses on developing priority Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs).

Subcomponent 3 of the National Climate Change Response Strategy (NCCRS) Action Plan for Kenya will design and deliver a National Adaptation Plan for Kenya in alignment with national priorities.

Subcomponent 2 of the National Climate Change Response Strategy (NCCRS) Action Plan exists to design and deliver a Climate Change Policy for Kenya with a supporting Regulatory Framework.

Subcomponent 1 of the National Climate Change Response Strategy (NCCRS) Action Plan for Kenya focuses on mainstreaming climate change into the projects planned in Kenya's economic blue print - Vision 2030.

The Co-ordination subcomponent of the National Climate Change Response Strategy (NCCRS) Action Plan. This work will support the Climate Change Secretariat in the Ministry for Environment and Mineral Resources (MEMR), Government of Kenya, to implement the 8 thematic subcomponents of the Action Plan.

In this project CDKN will help to integrate climate change considerations into Cartagena's Zoning Plan, and update the assessment of Cartagena’s vulnerability to the effects of climate change.
