The aims of this project were to:
- Explore a demonstrative model to strengthen the institutional capacity of the supplier as a corporation able to implement the plan 4C in the medium and long term in an independent but coordinated manner, and also capable of influencing the adoption of climate compatible development practices amongst public and private stakeholders in the city.
- Set up the foundations for the first adaptative neighbourhood in coastal zones in Colombia with a strong social component that aims to engage and empower one of the most vulnerable communities in the district of Cartagena, to better understand and demand climate compatible development interventions at local level.
- Enable the supplier to have the necessary skills and capacities to implement the plan 4C in the medium and long term in an independent but coordinated manner.
- Enable the supplier to influence the adoption of climate compatible development practices amongst public and private stakeholders in the city.
