At a recent workshop in Bangkok, organized by CDKN partner SUMERNET, its researchers had the opportunity to engage with two key groups of stakeholders: policy makers and journalists. Learning network on uptake of climate and disaster risk assessments
CDKN is looking for a supplier to explore the drivers for and barriers to the uptake of climate and disaster risk assessments, and how national and international participants can work to strengthen them. It will focus on the Latin American & Caribbean region, where the demand for this work is clearest, and on both - the producers and end users of risk assessments.

CDKN’s quarterly newsletter ‘Climate and Development Outlook’ provides information on CDKN’s projects and shows the work that’s underway to deliver climate compatible development in countries around the world.
The Shubh Kal project aims to strengthen community knowledge and voice on climate change impacts and adaptation by increasing their input into local research and policy dialogues and enabling communities to share their experiences of adapting to climate change.
