Thoughts from the new CEO
In a piece from our 'Thoughts from the CEO' series, new CDKN CEO Sam Bickersteth gives us an assessment of the CoP process, and what we can expect from CDKN in the year ahead.
H.E President Kagame and the Government of Rwanda asked CDKN and the UK Department for International Development (DFID) to help it develop a National Climate Change and Low Carbon Development Strategy (NCCLCDS). The strategy, which was developed by the Smith School of Enterprise and Environment (SSEE) at the University of Oxford and completed in August 2011 involved nine months of discussions with stakeholders across ministries, the private sector and civil society.
CDKN is working with climate risk-management firm Acclimatise to help Caribbean governments come up with a regional Implementation Plan for coping with climate change.
