Every year, the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) reaches hundreds of thousands of policy-makers, development professionals, researchers, students and journalists, with its stories and resources about climate change solutions. Will you join us to make CDKN’s website even better - and play a part in transforming how people understand and tackle climate change?

CDKN is tendering for a website developer to rebuild its entire bilingual English-Spanish website from scratch on Drupal. The work will begin with a detailed planning phase in early October 2020, followed by development in October-November, internal testing in December-January and deployment to production by latest March 2021.

CDKN is an alliance of not-for-profit organisations. Our work is focused on supporting climate-compatible development in sub-Saharan Africa, south Asia and Latin America. You can read more about our alliance and donors at: www.cdkn.org/about

Two of the member organisations: SouthSouthNorth (SSN) and Overseas Development Institute (ODI) will lead in commissioning and overseeing the website development. SSN and ODI seek proposals from qualified website developers by Thursday 24 September 2020, 17:00 UTC (18:00 British Summer Time, 19:00 South African Standard Time). Proposals will not be accepted after this date and time.

CDKN particularly welcomes proposals from companies with progressive hiring policies and a demonstrated commitment to the career progression of women, young people and historically disadvantaged groups, who meet the technical criteria.

We received clarification questions on the proposal documents and have published the answers transparently here.
