Outreach on the IPCC's Fifth Assessment Report in Ethiopia and Uganda
CDKN collaborated with the Governments of Ethiopia and Uganda to bring the key messages of the Fifth Assessment Report to audiences at two events in August.
The events, held in Kampala and Addis Ababa, formed part of a series of six events throughout July-August 2014 in African and Asian countries, which aimed to facilitate discussions among leaders in government, academia, business and civil society on the implications of the Fifth Assessment for their national context. Expert authors from the IPCC presented and discussed a ranged of topics during the high-profile event.
