The CDKN Ghana climate literacy games

These games utilise interactive, play-based learning to enhance climate literacy and inspire action, particularly among young people, women, and marginalised communities. Designed to make learning more accessible, they provide an engaging and accessible way to share knowledge. The games include:

  • Climate change and sustainability Pictionary

  • Climate change dodgeball

  • Climate change juggle

  • Climate change crossword

  • Climate change word search

  • Digital/VR innovations such as Human, Climate Change Pinball, University: Eye in the Storm, and Plasticity

Supporting and promoting inclusive, community-led climate resilience, the games equip participants with practical knowledge and skills to understand climate risks, ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA), and sustainable practices. They are tailored to Ghana’s local climate context, while remaining relevant and adaptable to different regions.

By fostering critical thinking, teamwork and digital literacy, these tools contribute to advancing CDKN’s objectives of just and inclusive climate action.
