As co-convenor of the Low Emission Development Strategies Global Partnership (LEDS GP) Secretariat, CDKN is responsible for supporting the implementation of a number of LEDS GP work streams, including Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) regional activities such as upcoming regional events. This contributed to the achievement of the LEDS GP’s 2016 priorities, as determined by working closely with LEDS GP's members and Steering Committee through 2016, including: building enduring momentum for LEDS;  mobilising investment for LEDS and Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) implementation; and facilitating access to assistance.

The objective of this project was to support LEDS LAC partnership through different activities including:

(a) co-hosting two events in the LEDS LAC annual workshop that took place in Panama from the 26-28th of September

(b) securing high quality facilitation support for the LEDS LAC regional event,

(c) co-organising webinars.
