Samson is a Project Manager for the programme on Mobilising Investment for NDC Implementation. He is also a Research Analyst for the Southern African Renewable Energy Investment and Growth programme. Prior to joining SSN, Samson assumed roles in academia, data analytics, finance and research for a range of organisations, including the University of Cape Town, London School of Economics, Human Sciences Research Council, Southern African Labour and Develop Research Unit and the Davis Tax Committee. He holds an M.Com in Applied Economics and an MPhil in Energy Development Studies – both from the University of Cape Town. His interests span the fields of energy access, climate finance, development economics, data science and applied econometrics.
