REPORT: Supporting climate negotiations - examining the evidence
This paper draws on the findings of a study commissioned by CDKN and undertaken by Ricardo-AEA which reviews the existing evidence base and a range of case studies to (i) understand how effective past and present negotiation support efforts have been, and (ii) how to strengthen future negotiation support efforts.
The AGN Support Unit was established to provide the Group with strategic and policy guidance on the multilateral climate change process, technical and legal assistance on key negotiating issues, and coordination and administrative support.
