Opportunity: REDAA's grant call for restoration programmes in Africa and Asia
Opportunity: REDAA's grant call for restoration programmes in Africa and Asia
Reversing Environmental Degradation in Africa and Asia (REDAA) is now inviting proposals for locally led, multi-locational research-to-action restoration programmes spanning across Africa, South Asia and Southeast Asia.
In this second REDAA grant call, up to nine programme grants ranging from £1,000,000 to £1,500,000 (GBP) will be awarded to the best proposals for outstanding programmes.
All programmes should:
- Involve research to action for ecosystem restoration.
- Include rigorous research and its translation into effective decision making at the policy level.
- Expect to achieve positive outcomes for nature, climate, and people.
- Be structured, at a minimum, as a partnership of two organisations.
Grants will fund programmes spanning 4 years, with implementation expected to start on 1 February 2025.
REDAA are hosting a webinar on Thursday 23rd May to provide an opportunity to find out in more detail about what kind of research-to-action initiatives the programme will be funding, who is eligible to apply and the process for putting in an application.
Closing date for concept notes: 30th June 2024
