In it, global experts identify key options for solutions that could successfully tackle the climate and biodiversity crises simultaneously.

Voluntary Carbon Markets Global Dialogue seeks to hear from carbon credit suppliers A team from Climate Focus, the Indonesia Research Institute for Decarbonization (IRID), SouthSouthNorth (SSN), Transforma, and Verra have kicked off a consultation with stakeholders in Latin America, Africa and Asia, on how the voluntary carbon market could work better for them. Countries revisit roles of climate finance at UNFCCC Long Term Finance Workshop CDKN's coverage of climate finance at the UNFCCC meetings continues, with reporting on long term finance. 

Raising awareness on uncontrolled burning in Ecuador A communications campaign to stamp out irresponsible fires in Ecuador, by the Arcoiris Ecological Foundation, was supported by a seed fund from CDKN and FFLA.

'One river, all its water' : Bringing climate and gender perspectives to water management in Patagonia It's challenging to communicate scientific information clearly for use in public policy-making. A group of researchers from Argentina took up the task, and sought to introduce climate and gender concerns into management of the Chubut River basin in Patagonia, Argentina. CDKN’s María José Pacha reports.

Puppet-based mini-series for children stands up to pollution Children and teenagers from Quintero and Puchuncaví, Chile are the protagonists of a new video mini-series aimed at young audiences called ‘Breathable: Children of a New Wind’. The puppet characters explore how children living in heavily-polluted zones are affected by pollution and how they have mobilised to improve their quality of life.
