YEDA tirelessly works to address the needs of vulnerable population when disaster strikes, partnering with the UN and other national and international partners to guarantee effective and timely response. YEDA has responded to every major disaster with lifesaving emergency Shelter, Non-Food Items, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene and CashBased Interventions since the South Sudan civil conflict of 2013, often being one of the first responders, and maintaining its presence even after the first intervention to assist the population become self-reliant and build resilience to shocks and crisis.
