At an official side event at COP17 in Durban, the Government of Kenya presented Kenya's experience in developing the CDKN-supported Climate Change Action Plan to implement the country's National Climate Change Response Strategy (NCCRS).

Speakers talked about the far-reaching, cross-sectoral nature of the process. 'It's not a one-Ministry issue,' said Stephen King'uyu of the Climate Change Secretariat in Kenya's Ministry of Environment.

Speakers included:

Honourable John  Michuki, Minister of Environment and Mineral Resources, Kenya
