Knowledge brokers link producers and users of knowledge, to enable the dissemination, exchange and use of relevant information for policy and practice change. They also enhance collaboration across stakeholders, support learning and strengthen capacities, and
often seek to address systemic issues, to bring about change. Through the variety of activities they undertake, knowledge brokers play a critical role in enhancing community resilience. This
interactive session seeks to broaden our understanding of different knowledge brokering approaches, the challenges these actors face, how they overcome them and what we can do to enhance their role.
