Claire Mathieson

As Knowledge Networks Manager (Africa), Claire has a particular interest in how knowledge is shared across the continent and how access to climate information could assist decision-makers make development decisions.

Claire works closely with CDKN's African country engagement leads to help tell the story of climate compatible development and to help share challenges and opportunities with neighbouring countries.

A former journalist and news editor, Claire has a passion for assisting story tellers understand how climate change might impact their readers. She has hosted multiple journalist training programmes and contributed to regional fellowships.

A keen participant of the Climate Knowledge Brokers group, Claire is constantly looking for ways to collaborate and elevate accessible information that Africans may use to help make their development decisions.
