Kenya

Kenya is bordered by Tanzania, Uganda, South Sudan, Somalia and Ethiopia. The country is affected by a range of climate change impacts, including extreme weather events, deforestation, soil erosion, desertification, loss of biodiversity, and water scarcity. These changes pose great risks to Kenya’s development. The government of Kenya approached CDKN, the UK’s Department for International Development and the French Development Agency, to support it in its development and implementation of a National Climate Change Response Strategy (NCCRS).
