Access to reliable evidence is central to an effective response to the development challenges of climate change. A mass of information is available, but it is often hard to find what you need or make sense of it.
Effective knowledge sharing is a fundamental pillar of the Climate and Development Knowledge Network. Our work will be shaped by the demands emerging at country level and we will try to fill gaps and connect to existing initiatives, rather than duplicate them. We will make full use of the latest online communication tools, organise face-to-face events and use print, video and other formats to reach different audiences.
How will we share knowledge?
produce a regular flow of publications to capture and distil the latest knowledge and present it in a convenient and accessible way
produce an Annual Review of Research highlighting latest trends and pinpointing key knowledge gaps
develop the Network website to offer a wide range of high quality content and links to the best information resources
trial an online community workspace to support CDKN’s innovative Action Lab
provide information in other languages, and regional and country-focused entry points to the Network’s knowledge resources develop a programme of capacity building activities and events
