Join CDKN's Mairi Dupar to talk about how to put the 'Climate Knowledge Broker' principles into practice at the Climate Knowledge Brokers' Group (CKB) Side Event at the Global Green Growth Week 2016: 'Linking Climate Knowledge to Green Growth'.

September 6, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Jeju Island, Korea

The CKB and the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP)  will be organising a Side Event at this year’s Global Green Growth Week, which will take place on Jeju Island, South Korea, from 5-9 September 2016. The Side Event is linked to the annual conference of the Green Growth Knowledge Platform, which also takes place at the Global Green Growth Week. The event will be titled ‘Linking Climate Knowledge to Green Growth’. It will involve a number of short ignite talks about climate knowledge brokering (more information about speakers coming soon), followed by Climate Knowledge Sharing Clinics with a focus on Green Growth. Join CDKN's Ari Huhtala to talk about gender and social inclusion in green growth and climate compatible development. Ari will discuss 'Ten things to know: gender equality and achieving climate goals'. 

September 7, 9:30 am - 11:00 am, Jeju Island, Korea

Also in this session, we will also hear from Ms Kumi Kitamori, Head of the Green Growth and Global Relations Division in the Environment Directorate of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Mr Amirali Parpia of Aga Khan Planning in Pakistan and Dr Byela Tibesigwa, of the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, will present findings on how gender empowerment has been achieved through climate-smart development programmes in their countries.
