EVENT: Facilitators training course – call for participants to apply

The MAPS Programme, in collaboration with the LEDS Global Partenrship, offers the first Facilitators Training Course, which will be held soon in Santiago de Chile.

This initiative seeks to provide a balance between knowledge on climate change and emissions and the theory and practice of facilitation. This is an intensive one-week workshop format, aimed at training professionals with experience and interest in this subject. It will also allow participants trigger, design and manage participatory processes for mitigation and the search for a low-carbon development at all levels: national and subnational levels, academic or business.

Call for participants to apply
Applicants are invited to the Americas and the Caribbean to apply. Applicants must complete a form (download the form). Please email this application form (in English or Spanish) to Lorena Dimairho in MAPS Programme (info@mapsprogramme.org). In addition to this application, please attach your CV (in English or Spanish) that includes biographical data (name, nationality, contact details, etc.), and your current position and relevant experience. Your CV should be accompanied by a cover letter containing a motivation as to why you would like to participate in this course (in English or Spanish).

Applicants are kindly requested to submit their application forms, cover letter and CVs by the 28th of September 2012.
